# Broadcast to contact groups

> Group your contacts and send a WhatsApp template to all of them at once.

Reach many customers in one action with the new **Broadcast** page. Build reusable audiences from your contacts, then send an approved WhatsApp template to everyone in a group.

## New

* **Contact groups.** Create named audiences from the people who have messaged your workspace, search to add members, and edit groups any time. Each group shows how many of its contacts can be reached on WhatsApp. See the [Broadcast guide](/guide/broadcast).
* **Send a template to a group.** Pick an approved WhatsApp [template](/guide/templates), fill in any variables once, and deliver it to every member with a WhatsApp conversation. The message lands in each contact's thread just like a manual send.
* **History.** Every broadcast is recorded with its group, template, and delivery result (completed, partial, or failed).
* **API.** List groups with `GET /api/v1/contact-groups` and send a broadcast with `POST /api/v1/contact-groups/{groupId}/broadcasts`. See the [API reference](/api-reference/introduction).
