Give every teammate exactly the access they need. Admins can now build custom roles with granular permissions and group members into teams that scope conversation visibility — all under Settings → Roles & teams.

New

  • Custom roles. Create named roles (e.g. “Support agent”, “Sales lead”) and toggle exactly which pages and actions they grant: Analytics, Data source, Flows, Broadcast, Contacts, channel/API/quick‑reply/template management, contact info and phone visibility, and conversation assignment. See the Team, roles & permissions guide.
  • Teams & conversation visibility. Group members into teams and decide who can see other agents’ or other teams’ conversations. Restricted members see only their own (and their team’s) conversations, plus unassigned ones.
  • Hide contact numbers. A dedicated permission keeps phone numbers hidden from members who shouldn’t see them — the number is stripped server‑side, not just visually masked.
  • Enforced everywhere. Permissions are applied across the sidebar, settings, each page, and the API, so restricted members can’t reach gated data by guessing a link.
Members with no role keep full access, so nothing changes until you create a role and assign it. Admins are always unrestricted.

Get started

Open Settings → Roles & teams, create a role, then assign it to members on Settings → Members.
