A contact is a person who has messaged your workspace. Adraa Inbox collects what’s known about them — across every channel and conversation — into one profile.

Contacts directory

The Contacts page lists everyone who has reached your workspace, folded into one row per person even when they’ve messaged on more than one channel. Filter the directory by:
  • Country
  • Channel
  • Assignment (assigned, unassigned, or assigned to you)
  • Whether they have an open conversation

Contact panel

Open a conversation to see the contact panel on the right. It shows:
  • Identity — name, avatar, country, and the channels they’ve used
  • Details — email, phone, first contact date, and conversation counts
  • Metadata — custom key-value fields (see below)
  • Flows — automation flows that have run for this contact
  • Notes — internal notes about the person, visible only to your team

Custom metadata

Track anything you want about a contact with custom key-value fields. In the contact panel’s Metadata section, enter a field name and value to add one, and remove a field with the delete button next to it. Metadata is shared with fields collected automatically by flows and imports, so a customer’s full record stays in one place.
Custom fields are also returned by the Contacts API, so you can read and update them from your own systems.

Tags and language

On the Contacts page, apply tags to any contact (create new ones inline) and set the contact’s language. Both are used to build Broadcast audiences — for example, send a template only to contacts tagged vip, or only to Arabic speakers.
